Barred rock chicks.

How old would you wait to move these chicks out? I have 20 of them and I “think” they’re around 5 weeks old to move them out? I’m not in a rush just curious these are my temperatures for the next while. And how old where your barred rock before they started laying?

Moved my chicks out at 3.5 weeks in mid May in western NY.

They are probably ready to move outside soon.
And I am not sure what age they lay, I would guess about 20 weeks.

I only have 1 BR....23 weeks old. Still not laying.

So cute! My babies were inside for about 7 or 8 weeks (painful) since it took us an eternity to finish building the coop. It helped us bond more I have mixed breeds including one BR and they didn't start to lay until about 24 weeks. My BR is my friendliest girl, and she is the one who follows me around the most. Her eggs are smaller than the others.
