barred rock chicks

I need some help

im about to get some more barred rock pullet chicks they are coming to the feed store straight run (i guess) and is theyre a way to feather sex them? like the white spot on the head? pictures would be GREAT! thanks

Females have a well defined head spot and look black in appearance. Males have a messy headspot and look more gray. (white mixed in with the black)

That works about 90% of the time, yes. I sex my BR chicks as soon as they are fluffed out.
