Barred Rock Contest! Enter by June 9th!

Here are three of my girls. The one in the back is 10 months, the one in the middle just turned a year, and the one in the front is 8 months old, though she's one of my feather footed mutts (black cochin hen with a barred rock roo.)

Thank you I bought the plans and my 9 and 10 yr Daughters build it during the winter in the garage. I cut the wood and directed them how to put it together. They got to learn how to use a square, screwdriver drill and pneumatic nailer. and painted it. i put the roof on and help with putting the sides up. I'm very proud of them. This is there 4-h Project

I know, but he seems to think that 4-H and animals go hand in hand, and he is in a phase where anything animal related is "girly". It is really ridiculous, but hopefully it will pass as he gets a little older. He has a couple friends in 4-H (one is showing broilers this year), maybe the peer pressure will eventually get to him

speaking of briolers we got 4 that the 3rd grade class hatched and they are 4 weeks today can't wait to butcher them, not the cleanest bird I've had so far and for every pound of food i got a pound of crap to go with it.
They eat poop and sleep. They don't like to free range they stay in the cage even with the door open they don't come out
