I’ve been having some gender speculations lately. I can’t decide whether my little barred rock chick is Male or female! First, I posted a while back on their gender and it seem obvious I had at least on male. Now, they’re 6 weeks and my ”boy,” Bubba, looks to dark colored compared to the males I have seen his age online. I’ve never had barred rocks before and I bought them sexed.
Bubba has a small comb and zero aggression issues. My more likely boy, sweet pea, has prominent barring and aggression issues. Bubba also has no comb development what so eve and even has a comb smaller than my older pullet!
Can someone help me clarify gender for once and for all?
