These were all bought as "pullets" from the cackle hatchery. I am still thinking that they are all pullets, and maybe I have a early bloomer???

These are all just over 6 weeks old. 2 are looking suspicious, and 1 is developing waddles more then the others.

Their banding and color all seem consistent with each other. All have a dark splash on their legs.

Your thoughts on whether they are pullets or cockerel are appreciated!

This is all six of them from the top for comparison..

These are the two in question. All are showing some color, these 2 seem to show more color then the rest. The one on the right has more waddle, and makes me wonder...

from the top...

and the sides....

If u could get a pic with one of the ones in qiestion, and one of the pullets together(or maybe one of those are), that will help us compare and contrast.
I have a friend who has 2 barred rock roos in a flock of pullts......they're probably a little older but i may be able to tell

They look like my girls. I remember thinking I must have roos when they started developing wattles but they were all pullets. The bodies all look like pullets and I'm not seeing any tail plumage development ... but they are only six weeks. In my barred rocks, my girls actually developed faster than my roos.

The best pic I have at the moment is the backs of all 6 in the previous post. I will get a pic tonight of them together. I just need more then two hands to do it!!!! My hubby will have to get involved. Thanks for the replies so far.

All pullets, sometimes the girls will mature at slightly different rates, if roosters they would be alot more silver looking and not so black.
