Yes, I paid the extra dollar for pullets (second time). Last time I ended up with 2 out of 3 roos, this time only 1 out of 6, so I guess I'm doing better.....

My local feed store gets them from Townline Hatchery, which gets pretty good reviews. We don't have many other options around here, except for Tractor Supply. We will have 12 hens now, and I already have a beautiful roo, so I will just give this one away and we should be set for a while

Sounds good then. Townline is new to me. I wish my feed and seed occasionally got chicks in but TSC is the only one here and mine close to me does not participate. I used MPC and Meyers Hatchery. I learn about new places everyday.
