Barred rock laying these different shades?

I have 2 barred rocks, 2 americanas, 1 starlight green egger, and a black copper maran. All hatched in July. One of the barred rock is the only one I've ever seen sitting in the nest boxes and laying eggs, but some of the eggs have been alot darker. Can they vary this much in color?

Are you sure that both Barred rocks aren't laying? Could you have gotten them mixed them up?

One has a much larger and redder comb so they are easy to tell apart, but they could both be. The other one just hasn't acted ready to lay yet.
