one of my barred rocks, Mary Kate, who I noticed on Thursday seemed to be a little "off." I went to pick her up and she didn't protest too much where she usually freaks out and runs away. Her comb looks really red and the end of it looks purplish. I felt it and it felt cool, not warm like the others. She pooped a nasty diarrhea type poop. I gave her some parrot mash and she ate that, found a slug that she made a mess of eating it, really gross but hey, extra protein I guess. She seems kind of weak, I sort of pushed her and she seemed to be kind of wobbly and not very balanced. I've got her in the hospital cage. Anybody got any ideas?
UPDATE~I've been giving Mary Kate Nutri Drench1.5 cc directly into her beak and putting it in her water. Right now the comb is not purple and it's warm. She's still acting sluggish but she ate some plain yogurt, some apple, cuke, a little egg and a little corn muffin. The flock was wormed about six months ago. She's out on my deck with food and water.
