You should easily be able to see a difference - the pullets look much darker with less white barring. They are a very nice breed.

Those are fantastic pics to show the difference! I'm sorry you had to rehome them.

It's comb is smaller than the other. As regards as coloring goes there is no difference in the 2

Photos can be deceiving. If one is not lighter then both are probably pullets.

I checked. They both have vents. Or what appear to be vents. So how are barred rock's egg production?

Barred rocks are good egg producers.
