Barred Rock or Dominique

Hello. I bought these two chickens about a month ago. I was told they were Dominique hens about 5 months old. I now know one of them is a rooster and I think they both are. There is no doubt about the larger one on the right. He crows and mates with the hens. The smaller one doesn't lay and doesn't try to mate with the hens. But at times he/she and the rooster square off with each other, they flare up their feathers and they act very aggresive toward each other.

Also, after researching the breeds, based on the comb type I think they are Barred Rocks rather than Dominiques.

So I ask the experts. Dominiques or Barred Rocks, roosters or hens???

they are Barred rock roosters.. a lot of the times to the backyard hobbiest anything thats barred is a "dominecker"

I believe they are barred rocks, as Dominiques have rose combs. Nice looking birds!

Barred Rock roosters. Yep, boys. Pullets are much darker, usually.
