Barred Rock or Indian Game?

I want to breed some hybrid meat birds.

Would it be better to use a Barred Rock rooster over Indian Game hens or vice versa?
(I think you call Indian Game Cornish over there)

Indian Game all the way for meat

they are the commercial breed

with USA breeding Indian Game Roos (us name called Cornish) crossed with White Rock Hens

to get Cornish Rocks (Cornish Cross)

ME I am working on a meat hybrid myself

I have been wanting to get back into IGs, and thought that would be a good hybrid.

your good to go with barred rocks

the only reason in US that white rock is used is it has dominant white gene

so it makes the chicks of the Cornish X white with white flesh

desirable trait so not having to singe the hair like feathers after plucking

barred rocks will just mean you will have black birds instead of white

as both are Rocks

I am trying Ixworth as it only comes in White and is a Dual purpose bird on its own so will be similar to CX
