Barred Rock Pullet ID

Someone fairly local has this single chick, needing to get rid of. It’s siblings we’re all killed by a opossum. We’ll be getting a couple Buff Orpington pullets and a couple Rhode Island Red pullets this next weekend. First off, is this a hen? We certainly don’t want a rooster. And if so, would she be a good fit with our other planned girls?

How old? That red comb is saying male to me.

She's a hen. I'm 90% certain. Saddle feathers say hen, and black toes. The color is either way, but it's the same as half of my 20 barred rock hens.
