Barred Rock pullets? (And guess my australorps...)

Hi guys,

I just thought I'd ask first before going and getting more... (I found a local feed shop with BR pullets). I picked these 4 from a tractor supply bin - tried to look for dark streaks on the legs and very subtle combs. Did I actually pull 4 pullets? All 4 look pretty similar, but knowing my luck, I thought I'd ask before getting more. Their combs look more squished than I remember with my other BR chicks, but it's been awhile.

Also, any guesses on these 2 australorps?

All are about 3 weeks old.

A better way to tell is by the barring on their feathers. Males will feather in with a lot of white barring, females will be more black with 'spots' on them.

Glad you mentioned that, because I thought the combs looked different than my other barred rocks. I thought maybe it was just that they are still little, but was another reason I wanted some input. Thanks.

These did come from TSC. I guess it gives me an excuse to get a few more...

Just to compare.
Here is a picture to compare of one of my barred rocks, Miss Scooter at around 3 weeks I think.

And, a picture of my barred rock Cockerel, now Rooster, ziggy.

Well, that's what I needed to know. Assorted roosters... ha! Certainly possible! (especially with my luck) They're being good brothers to the wee turkeys, so that's what matters now, but that's EXACTLY the "excuse" I need to go get some of these BP pullets.

Thanks again. The doms weren't even on the TSC list, but then again, the storeworkers weren't terribly helpful.

And like I said, I actually found a local source for pullets, as I really have lousy rooster luck.

I have a dog named Rue, who we refer to as "the rue-ster." Perhaps I'm jinxing myself!
