Funny I found this post, just yesterday I found the same thing on one of my BR's and was thinking maybe the daddy was an Austrolorp since we got an Aussie from the same breeder who also has the greenish hues. Maybe that's not the case though and its a normal occurance.

My BR LuLu is 6 months old and I noticed the black on her stripes also shows a tealish color in the sun. Can't see from the pic, but here's one just for fun.
