Chirping
Got this little one this weekend. I checked the wings and the feet and was sure I got a hen but its personality has me thinking otherwise. Any guesses?

I sure hope so. Someone told me a head spot like that meant male and it's my favorite.Female.
Dark colored legs, slender legs, big headspot, all point to pullet.
Usually males would have lighter legs, & fatter legs then females. Headspot sexing on barred Rock chicks can be tricky, so looking at leg color, & thickness is the second more accurate way of sexing them.I sure hope so. Someone told me a head spot like that meant male and it's my favorite.
When I picked it I looked at the comb size and leg thickness and the wings compared to the others and the comb and legs were definitely on the smaller side compared to some of the others. Yep, you can post back here when the chick grows, & feathers out more. In a few weeks would be good. When I picked it I looked at the comb size and leg thickness and the wings compared to the others and the comb and legs were definitely on the smaller side compared to some of the others. Orpingtons are the same way with tail growth, tails grow in slower then then in females. These are not the best pictures. On the females the tail buds usually develop more quickly than on a male. These are Sex-Links. They are a little older than your chick, the white ones are the males and the ones with the brown are female.
