Barred Rock Roo??

I’ve been thinking this bird is a rooster for several weeks now but wanted opinions. They are between 7-8 weeks. This one has huge feet, bigger than the rest and has had a red comb and wattles for several weeks now. And I’m pretty sure it is trying to crow but im never out there when i hear the noise to verify it is this one. Do you think Roo??

Yep its a cockerel

Yup. Cockerel. The lighter feather pattern is another way to tell for barred rocks.

I was 99.9999% sure he was. He is my daughters favorite but we really weren’t looking to have a rooster. Guess we have a decision to make. We got one barred rock rooster with our last batch a few years back and he was so beautiful!!
