1 year old Barred Rock Rooster needs to find a new home - He is currently living in the Harrodsburg/Mackvillle area of Central Kentucky and will NOT be shipped - Pick up Only.
He is a nice looking fellow and friendly enough but we only have 3 BR hens - 3 BR Roos are too much and we don't have enough housing to keep them all safe & out of my garden. I do not tolerate fighting among my boys so I try to keep them separated. An occasional fence fight occurs as I let separate pens free range. So he has a few spots on his comb that are healing.
He needs a home and must go ASAP!
If he is not sold - I guess we'll have to have stew - so open up your heart/home for this fella if you can.
We'll be traveling to Lexington & 75 North to Cinncinatti on Sunday and my daughter will be traveling BG PKWY West to E-town & 65 South to Nashville on Monday so meeting someone on 75 or 65 is a possibility.
