This is the quintessential photo. I was about to upload a similar pose with mine, but there's no need.

THIS IS the photo everyone should refer to in asking whether they have roos or pullets. I don't know how to post it as a kind of photographic sticky, but it should be made into one.

Well I have about 8 roosters that are dark colored, not light colored like this so I am not too sure. I have been kind of surprised, usually they DO look like this picture. I would trust the comb more than the color.
