Please help! Cockerel or pullet? I've tried vent sexing and still unsure.

Judging by only the white dots, I'd say 1 is a pullet and 2 is a cockerel. It's not very accurate, though, so don't quote me on it. You may have to wait until they're fully feathered (6ish weeks). The cockerels will have double white bars and appear lighter than the females.
 
There's really no way of knowing for sure until they are older. Even vent sexing isn't fully accurate . But if you are unsure how to exactly understand what your looking at when vent sexing a chick: if foam comes out of the vent it's a cockerel, no foam it's a pullet.
