Barred Rocks! Finally! Decent pictures!

I wanted to share some photos of what my Barred Rocks look like! They're only 3 months old...so be nice! They're standards...bantams don't last long at my house!

I assume the one with the bigger comb and wattles is a rooster? The others look very much like my Barred Rocks that are now almost 4 months old.

Yes, the ones with the larger combs and wattles are males. There are only 2, the rest are females.

The females need some work on their barring, but that's where the fun of breeding comes in!

The second picture shows the smallest male. He JUST got done losing all of his baby down. He hasn't grown all his feathers in...just kind of has bald patches. I hate keeping them in that small area, but until I know they can stand the colder weather, they gotta stay in that little chicken house.

WOW! Those are some nice, good-sized BRs. After looking around here at people's pictures of Dominiques and Marans for so long, I can really tell the difference between the BRs and other barred breeds.
