barred rocks not laying

I raised 2 RiRs and a new Hampshire with them and they lay daily also 10 more hens and was getting only 8 eggs a day. Should I increase layer feed or is it because it getting cold early in Florida. They are from last spring

Mine were hatched late April (27th) and they are not laying....

I guess it will take time......

They will lay when they are ready. Are you sure that some of the eggs you are getting are not from them? I know it seemed like forever before my barred rocks layed. They were born in march and didnt start laying until the end of september. I would sit and watch them to see who is going in and laying. If they arent laying now, they will be soon.

My BR's were April chick hatches and didn't start laying until last week.
