I recently noticed that my 5 Rhode Islands feet all have a large gash between the toes.

I have 2 Barred Rocks that peck on the bloodied areas. I have put peroxide and liquid bandage on the wounds. The next day it appears that they have been pecked again.

The wounds are getting pretty bad and I am afraid they will get infected.

Is there anything I can put on the cuts to prevent pecking or to heal the cuts.

I don't want to seperate the birds, but I may not have a choice.

Has anyone else experienced this problem.

I haven't experience foot pecking specifically, but chickens will peck wounds. Separating them would be best. You could try blue cote I think its called to put on the wounds to discourage pecking but when I had a pullet getting pecked a couple years ago the ONLY thing that worked was separating her from the flock until she healed.
Good luck.
