Barred rocks - Two hens or no?

They have the barring type of pullets, but they look awfully big and those combs and wattles look awfully red for two months old. Maybe they're just fast developers.

Well I woke up to a murder scene this morning. Long story short. I began this chicken process earlier this year. Bought 4 RIR from TSC all turned out to be roosters. I kept our (my kids) favorite rooster and gave away three. Also bought 4 BR two which were pictured in this thread. This morning my rooster was not crowing so I went out to look for it. He had no head and the same for one of the other BR, the 2nd BR was half consumed. My daughter didn't see this but I had to tell her (without detail). I am now left only with two BR. It has been a terrible situation but I will not give up. I will be on the hunt tonight, loaded and ready!

Did you secure the entry point? Judging by your description I would be looking for a weasel or possibly a raccoon.
