Hmm....it looks more like an early maturing pullet, but I can't tell for sure with these pictures. We really need a side one to tell.

If barred wyandottes are anything like barred rocks, I'm sorry but I think you have a cockerel.

He is lighter in color than the others and I think I could see that characteristic superthin barring on the head feathers. This is not something people talk about but I have noticed it profoundly in barred rocks.
