[Miss Chicken]

I have three chicks that are 2-3 weeks old and I'm wondering about having the heat light on all night. I notice that in the middle of the night they are all running around and being very active. Do they need rest time without the light on? If so, should I buy a red heat bulb for the night?

Also, can I feed them something for a treat or should it just be chick starter?

At that age they still need the heat from the lamp. Leave it on all night. They'll sleep when they need to with the light on.

I wouldn't give any snacks at this young age.
