We have been considering backyard chickens for the past year. I am worried about the legality of it though. Does anyone know if they are legal in Bath, PA, or if you need a permit (or what the guidelines are)? We do live in row homes built in the late 1970's, so I'm worried that they may not be allowed due to the closeness of neighbors and land issues. We do have land, but are back to back. We don't want roosters, just two or three hens to lay. Ideas???
oh well. Maybe we'll get a rabbit instead. I'm bummed.
