Bath Time!

Even tho it may be cold where you are, don't forget to put out a shallow pan of water for your pigeons to bath in. My birds will bath daily if given the chance. Even when its fridgid they will bath then walk around with frozen feathers for a while.
Also if you put some 20 mule team Borax in the water it will help get rid of any feather varmits too!

Good tip about the borax. My rollers and highflyers will bath every day the water is in there but for some reason my Damascenes just don't like to bath all that often.

Today snow was blowing into the aviaries, and the birds were trying to "bathe" in the snowflakes much as they do with rain.
