Well, I bathed my first chicken last night.... It was my silkie rooster. I bathed and blow dried him and he loved the blow dryer! I was shocked... He actually seemed to enjoy it!

I've bathed several chickens. For showmanship they like them to be super clean.
Did you get the old Flap and Drench manuver? Works every time and I swear they laugh at you afterwards.

He definitely got the full spa treatment! I was getting him ready for a show but we wound up not going.
Actually he never drenched me.... I was prepared for some serious wing flapping but it never happened. But I sure was grateful!!! I think he liked the whole process.... Of course then he got to spend the night in the house too. Yes, he's a very rotten chicken.
