Bathing a chicken!

I have a chicken and she rolls in chicken poop for some reason.

And she really really needs a bath ( she smell really really nasty). How would I give her a bath?

I would get a bucket of warm water, squirt a little dish soap in there and put her in it. Make sure she doesn't drown- they often fall asleep. Chickens LOVE baths.

Then have your rinse water ready or have someone bring you some rinse water.

If you do this in the winter time blow them dry and put them in a dog crate somewhere warm for a couple of hours before putting them back outside.
