Hi I Was wondering how often you can bathe your silkie . . . Is once every two weeks too much ( to help prevent pests as well as looking good )

Unless you are showing your birds or they are getting particularly filthy, there is no need to bathe them at all. That said, I do bathe the occasional silkie that get really dirty or sticky from their treats

The following will keep your birds lice/mite free:

Ivomec drops orally every 3 months
Add DE to your bedding every week or so
Frontline spray - 1 drop behind neck, low on back and under the vent every 2-3 months
Dust birds with Sevin once every 1-2 months
