I had a few chick's hatch sooner than expected. How long can they stay in the incubator before they need to be taken out and put in the brooder? I just hate to keep opening it to remove a chick or two.

It's perfectly safe to leave those chicks in the incubator until everyone is hatched. There is no rush to get them out. In fact, leaving them in will help encourage those that are still in the shell.

They are perfectly fine to stay in the incubator for 24 hours or more. Just make sure they aren't getting stuck on anything (Hopefully your bator has a little window you can peep through!)
