Bator temp up slightly during incubation

So I am on day 8 and I have noticed that my bator temp is up to 101 from 99.5-100 in the last few days.

I have read that the chicks start to create their own heat and was wondering if this is why the temp is slightly increased?

If so is it going to creep up much higher? Or just level out where it is?

First timer here and just a tad bit over protective

They do create their own heat - but its later on - day 16 or so. Do you have a thermostat or other way to regulate the temp?

101 is not an issue - but if it does keep climbing you will want to keep an eye on it. You really dont' want it over 102.

Thanks for the reply

I have been keeping a close eye on it and so far no real spike over 101 which is awesome. I am going to have to watch it more closely and I may have to adjust before I go to work in the am.
