I have a home made bator that im oh so proud of but my thermostat wont give me just what i want,I have tweeked and tweeked and it seems that 97 to 99 or 99 to 102 are my options which would be best?

Yes, still air or forced? Your goal is to get the core of the eggs as close to 99.5 F as possible.

If you have a still air incubator, because heat rises, you want the top of the eggs to read 100-101 F.

For forced air incubators, 99-100 F is ideal.
