I have some cochin chicks that have never been around any adults. these birds now know the sound of me getting their feed from across the room and start chirping happily when they here it. makes me laugh when I here it. they dont have great big brains but they can do tasks and they have some memory, so I am sure they will go nuts over treats soon

I know I have at least one roo. he is about 6 or 7 weeks old. he doesnt crow yet, which is nice because I have them inside still. I was goofing around and crowed at them. they stopped what they were doing and looked astonished. the roo not 15 seconds later did a slow braawk that he had not done before and I am afraid it is going to cost me.


You might suggest to be part of the study to compare free range birds with forced confinement birds. you might get paid for having your own chickens
