Bornani sighed and gazed down at the ground, "Lions moved onto our land, and we didn't even realize they did. When the pack went hunting one day, they left all the pups in the dens with the pup watcher. They never did come back.." He said sadly.

Alika then sniffed the air, "You guys stay here, I have to go check something," she said firmly before darting out of the den.

Kala said,"I'm sorry. "

Tayla started to slowly doze off to sleep but a scent caught her attention.

"Dalila isn't with Adofo. She left him," she said.

Tayla saw Alika in the distance. She jumped up ran towards her full of excitement.
