Battle over :(

I went out at bout 7:00 Pm and saw that my gobbler had no chance of healing. He was eating and when he tried swallowing it he would throw up. When he tried drinking the same thing happened. I knew then that as a pet owner i had to do what was best for him... Im sooo sad because i thought he was starting to turn around

.. I ended his pain quick and humaine.. now his pain is over.. :'(. Im really gonna miss him.

I guess the only thing you can do now is protect your flock from it. Thats what he would want. Im glad it was quick. Do you have any pictures of his remembrance?

Ya this saturday im going to clean out my coop and putt freash sawdust in. I do have a picture of him on my page hes the one on the left.

I must have missed something. Was it due to disease or injury? Either way ,sorry for your loss. I can shoot a wild bird during hunting season with no emotional connection to the kill, yet when I am forced to put down one of my raised birds .....I dread and hate it.
