BAY AREA BYCers SPEAK UP HEAR!!!!!

Hey cool, I was just going to ask if there was anyone from up here. Yea our poor girls gotta be freezing. From our view out here on Lakeville Hwy. there has been snow on the top of the mountain/hill thing behind Novato for many days now. Crazy to see it and I got some nice photos the other day. It totally reminds me of living in Denver. Especially with this bitter cold! Not so bad this morning but the last two, pwew!

Hey folks. I am considering buying a 50 lb bag of DE from RiverTown in Petaluma but there is no way I personally will go through that amount in a decent amount of time with 8 chickens. I was wondering if anyone wants to go in on a bag with me and we could split the cost. It's around $40 for 50 lbs. so the investment wouldn't be outragous. Feel free to PM me if interested, thanks!

I'm planning on moving to Hayward. Does anyone know what the laws are there regarding how many and what kind of chickens one can have in their backyard? Thanks.
