Bay Area newbie needs advice on breeds

Thanks everyone! Y'all are so nice and welcoming. My baby Fluffbucket started trying to crow this morning (thankfully, he sounds more like a crow than a rooster so far), but he's got to go soon. I'm sure lots of people on the forums have had to deal with this. Suggestions? I was going to offer him for free on the Marketplace, but I can't post there yet.
 
I have 4 Stars, and the are great layers and pets. If you spend time with them they will sit on your lap and they will tolerate you holding them. The love to forage and we let them out of their run into our yard that isn't fenced in and they have never tried to run out our yard. They are also have very pretty coloring.
