I'm not sure. Jathy would be the one to ask. Do you have a sick bird?
Ah okay I don’t wanna bother her then! Just don’t wanna accidentally overdose the bird since I think I’ve seen some different amounts everywhere hahah

And well I have two with quite bad bumblefoot, one of which I just pulled a huge kernel out of her foot yesterday and one with swollen, hot feet. And the one I doctored yesterday also has some weird wound or lesion or something ? On her breast area that looks kind of infected and yellow/weird color that I pulled the scab off yesterday (which I probably shouldn’t have done) so I’m worried about infection especially since she’s older (5) and I read all their issues can be caused by staph infection. I’m worried it’s gone systemic or something on both of them. She has this weird hard white ball under the skin too which I think is infection right? I’ve been considering taking her to the vet but I have Baytril and Doxycycline here which I think are stronger than what a vet would give anyway? Maybe for the wounded one I should just do Neosporin and wait it out ??? But I am worried. And for the other I think she needs it.

That dose twice a day is correct. Up to 15 mg/kg twice a day can be used too.
Okay that’s good to know! Thanks! So it won’t overdose them? Is it usually given for smaller birds or something? I guess I’m just confused by why it says once a day if it’s safe to give more ? Maybe liability or something?? 🤔🤔🤔

I haven’t used it yet but I did find some Blu Kote so I sprayed that on her but HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU GET IT OFF!?!?!?! My fingers are totally purple 😭😭
