I have 2 BBR Phoenix Bantam pullets, and I want to experiment with them a little, as in mixing them in with some of my OEGB stock. In OEGB's, I have Brassy Backs, Brown Reds, Lemon Blues, SDW, and BBR. Which ones do you think would make the best match? Has anyone done this? I know leg color is something to look for when matching, and oddly enough one phoenix hen has blue legs, and the other one has green.

Here's their pics..

How old are they? The one at the very bottom looks cockerel

They are 5 months old. It is odd how that one you're talking about has cockerel type feathering, and it has the green legs, and more "exotic" looking, but it's definitely a pullet.

I'm completely new to owning phoenix, but they are great, friendly birds. I was going to get a phoenix roo for them, but kind of wanted to mix them in with some OEGB's.
