Oh yeah, I have too many to fit in my spice cabinet. There are some like powdered ginger that are shoved clear in the back of a different cabinet but the cinnamon is always up front.You probably don't have the spice cabinet problem I do.

Ehh, not gonna mother my mother. If she wants to keep doing it thenThen try to go shopping with her -- ask her if she knows what she's going to do with it, and if she doesn't know, then try not to let her buy it. Say that it will just go bad and be a waste.
Not here, either. We keep an array of spices and seasonings in a drawer by the stove, and keep backups their own little box in the pantry. Pretty hard to lose things when they're contained.
