I get the feeling that I'll be really nervous around my baby. They're so tiny.
Well, hold it like a bantam chick, I guess -- gently, but firmly, and for goodness' sake, don't drop it. I dropped Zapraska when he was tiny -- that might have something to do with how chill he is with being flipped onto his back.

Oldest was 5lb 4oz
Youngest was 4lbs 11oz.

I held a pile of blankets and prayed they wouldn’t squirt out like a pumpkin seed.

My former neighbor had a big harlequin great dane. My husband had never seen one before. In the evening the great dane got loose and was in our yard. Because he didn't have his glasses on and it was dark, he yelled out, "THERE IS A LITTLE HORSE OUT HERE"

Premie babies are very ugly.

I saw a little set of clothes in Walmart for premies.
They were scarily small. Babies are tiny anyway, but premies are just scarily so....

Oldest was two weeks early. Youngest was 6.5 weeks early. I’d have a dozen of the little buggers running around..... but the wife wouldn’t survive one more.

My little brother was rat size. My mom said he was not cute at all poor thing.
2.5 pounder. A few months premature.
