I use cream of mushroom (or chicken) soup when making something but I have never eaten a can of soup by itself.Campbell's Golden Mushroom with a quarter can of water added. Make as a gravy and pour over wide egg noodles.

I bet it’s still delicious!! We don’t use the rings, we use those little crispy things in the container. Frenchs or whatever.Our Green Bean Casserole does not have any cream of mushroom soup or any fried onion rings.
