BC Marans: Is it a Male or Female?

Since I only had one Black Copper Marans hatch, I'm having trouble figuring out if it is a he or a she. If I were guessing I'd say a roo but I've also heard that BCM pullets often have large combs when compared with other breeds. Here are two pictures from a few days ago @ around 3 weeks old.

Oh yeah, looks like my FBCM roo at that age!

I love my FBCM roo. He is so good to the ladies and doesn't mind if I pick them up and do what I need to do with them. He comes to me for treats but isn't like some of my hens where they jump in my lap for an under-wing scratch. I can pick him up if I need to. He has a dozen sons in another pen but they free range together in the afternoon and he has been fine with them so far.
