BC Marans x leghorn?

Hi all!

I have a beautiful BC marans rooster, Bastian, who I plan to keep for breeding with my BCM hens. Now they are not separated yet, and live together with leghorns as well.
I tried to look for it, but without any luck.
I was wondering... has anyone tried to cross white leghorns with BC marans? If so, what do they look like? What do the eggs look like? Are they hardy? Good layers? Would it worth a try?

Their chicks would probably be white with black spots and some red/copper leakage. Eggs would be light brown in color. F1 crosses tend to be better layers and hardier than purebreds. If you want some extra layers, I'd say go for it, it's worth a shot.
