Hi,
This is day 22 and 6 eggs made it to lockdown. Two chicks hatched earlier today and are hanging out in the incubator. One egg pipped a few hours ago and has been trying to zip for the past hour. About 1 inch x 0.5 inch section of the shell has fallen off, but the outer membrane is still intact. I see the beak trying to poke through, but so far no luck. This has never happened to me before and I’m worried about this chick. The other 3 eggs have not externally pipped, and I’m so tempted to help that little one poke through the membrane. Humidity has not been lower than 65% during lockdown.
Any advice?
Thanks so much!
