Well, since buying Jesse Bryant's flock of BCMs I am overrun with these dark brown eggs. My incubator is full since I hatch all my other breeds this time of year and I already have several dozen of the BCM eggs in there as well (with a BST for chicks listed separately).

So I'm offering a special offer of $40 a dozen to include shipping. These are the parents to all the BCMs on BYC that came from Jesse Bryant.

Here are the birds (I have 26 females and 6 males in 4 separate pens):

The eggs can begin going out tomorrow (Tues.). Paypal is [email protected]

Not sure, it varies - but most are this color:

I just took this pic. Marans egg on left, regular brown egg in middle, blue/green egg on right. Flash and sunlight reflecting on eggs make all seem lighter.

I put them in a plastic egg carton with shredded paper inside a small box filled with shredded paper and that is inside a larger box also filled with shredded paper. So they are well padded and insulated. Besides, at worst they would start incubating.

No, but I could ship you some or you could drive on down and visit the farm - makes a nice day trip. I think you are less than 3 hrs away.

I have some that can go out tomorrow and you would probably have them the next day. All of our mail has to go to Jackson for processing.

I have some eggs in the bator that will hopefully be hatching on July 2nd. I am not in any hurry to hatch more. If you ever find yourself traveling this way, let me know and I could meet you halfway or something. I have been eyeing some of those chickens for a while, but I don't have anywhere to put them. Also, I didn't know you had so many of them, but I am glad to know it now, so when I do have the room I can get some eggs.

Sorry if that sounded confusing,

Teri

I have a separate thread for the chicks. I have some hatching about July 2nd as well. I could overnight as many/few as you want. The P.O. truck picks up here at 4:00 and drives to the Jackson P.O. They would actually be there that night. Chicks are $10 each.

I will always be hatching them and have both chicks and eggs so when you're ready for either one, just let me know. We bought an old plantation home here in Woodville and have been busy restoring it and turning it back into a working farm. So many people come here for tours (strangers stop off the street) that we are considering opening it for tours on weekends since I'm always giving free tours anyway. So if you're ever needing something to do one day, come on down. I'll keep you in mind if I ever head that way. Actually, now that I think about it, I have some friends from Greenville coming here the 4th of July weekend and they will have to pass through Jackson on their way home. I'm sure they wouldn't mind meeting you somewhere.
