BCMaran chick with wing feathers sticking out to the side. Normal?

I have a BC Maran chick who is approx 7 days old, her wing feathers seem a little to large for her body and they stick out instead of laying against her body. She eats,drinks,poops and is just as active as her sisters (normal behavior) Maybe she will grow into her wings or is something wrong?

Mine got better within a few days of posting that. Read through the comments for info about what it is. She's now three weeks old and you cant even tell there was ever a problem. Hope this helps.

Sounds like a girl problem. I really think 'she' just is feathering out in her wings a bit faster than the rest of her. Girls usually do this, so maybe a good thing. She will feather out to match the rest of her soon, so I wouldn't worry at all. Wing feathers often get a bit pulled at times and those will eventually fall out. I'd just watch her a while and see what happens. What cuties you have. My fav, BCM's. HenZ
