BCs, good dogs?

Search is all I do lately!

I think my parents think I've gone crazy! Which maybe I have. I spend a lot of time on Petfinder, and a few weeks ago I even got my Mom to bring me to 2 pounds! I guess that was when I really thought it was going to happen, but after all, I don't NEED another dog, I just really want one!

oh and (relatively) good news, i think ive found an ES breeder and e-mailed them (i actually e-mailed a bunch, through my moms e-mail, puppy inquiries, just basic stuff, pretending to be my mom, is that even legal... ? lol), and 2 replied back so far, the second one to reply doesnt have puppies now, the one dam (female, mother of the puppies)Lily wont have another litter till 2011 and theyre gonna try to have a litter with the other one Callie, in like October 2010 so thats a while away. but the first breeder who replied has a litter and may have a pup thats available now AND they ALSO mentioned another breeder who has puppies now (and whose shipping cost may be cheaper) as another option! and both sets of parents from both breeders are beautiful dogs and all of the puppies are adorable and they dont cost that much and if im interested i just have to fill out a questioneer and stuff, so hopefully i can get one of them, I am sooooooo excited (maybe... lol)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i know it hasnt happened yet and i probably shouldnt get my hopes up just yet but i cant help but be sooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally am a huge fan of BCs. My mom raises them as does my grandmother. I only do rescues, so my dogs are all herding mixes (BC mix, ACD mix and AS mix). However, my love is the BC. Great dogs!! Yes, they are higher maintenance due to their intelligence, but they are worth every second plus more!

I love BCs too but i dont know, right now may not be good, plus even if it was, im not sure i could convince my parents to let me get one (such a high energy, high strung breed)...

but dont get me wrong, I am sure theyre great and i would love to get one, just not sure my parents would love that idea right now...

, but dont get me wrong, as soon as i CAN get one, i have EVERY intention of doing so, they sound awesome... lol

now, you can either scroll down and hit the first breeder link, from virginia, carla old (click see webpage) or you can click this link which takes you to that page. http://www.englishshepherd.org/Litters/Old6_10.htm this is the breeder that the other one recommended as an alternative option.

now again either scroll and click the one from idaho, kris hazelbaker or hear is the link: http://www.englishshepherd.org/Litters/Hazelbaker5_10.htm this is the breeder that said they may have pups and also recommended i try the other breeder as well.

now of course there are several other litters that seem good but they have yet to reply, these include barbara brown, amy forrest, carmen and chuck statzer, teri knox, sandi thomas, and jay turpin (pretty much most of the breeders on the page) but they have yet to reply and "my" breeder(s) i would say is amoung the best. the breeder who did not have pups available now is claudie johnson but there are no pics of the dogs on her page so her is her website: http://www.southernhomesteadkennel.com/ i would say that out of all of the above mentioned breeders that have not replied back yet, amy forrest, carmen and chuck statzer, teri knox, and jay turnpin probably have the best dogs as well as maybe barbara brown(i know thats pretty much the whole list... lol), but again i think "my" breeder is among the best of these breeders so i will make do, all the dogs are awesome!

my faves though are adela rose (jay), orchard hill (kris), du prairie (teri), craig creek (carla), forrest run farm (amy), and statzer hollow farm (carmen and chuck)... lol

English Shepherds look like a really good breed!

Maybe I should look into that breed too......
