Beak injury on hen/ How to stop the bleeding? Home remedy!

What can I use to stop the bleeding on a chicken beak? I live really far out of town.

Try putting flour on it.

Thanks, I'll go try that. I tried putting some dehydrated lime, then some powdered dirt. It was still bleeding when I came to the house.
I did put her in a pen by herself/no feed or water. Thanks!

When my hen had a torn comb I put neosporin (not the one with pain reliever) and then put flour. I don't know if it works the same on a beak though. Good luck.

Your welcome. Keep putting the flour on until it stops. Your doing the right thing by keeping her quiet..
